The 2012-2013 school year has come and gone.  the students have taken part in many projects in and around the community.  They completed work on the Junaluska Elementary School Sign, a retaining wall in clyde, stucco on the National Construction Research house at HCC, block work on the newest Habitat for Humanity house, and a brick “spiral” in Tuscola’s Art Garden to name a few of our projects.  The students earned a total of 19 NCCER certifications and 6 OSHA Construction certifications.  It has been a busy year, and the students should all be proud of their accomplishments.  Congratulation’s to my seniors, you have all worked so hard over the last three years.  and to the students coming back next year, be ready, we already have live projects lined up for the entire school year.

It is my hope as your teacher that the skills you are learning will not only serve you at Tuscola, but as you continue in life.  Education should be a tool that you use to help build a strong foundation ensuring you will be prepared to meet the challenges of your future after graduation.  Have a great summer!
