WELCOME to the Haywood County Schools’ PEP Grant / Mountain R.O.A.D.S. website!

Congratulations to our very own Casey Conard from Hazelwood Elementary School!

In April of 2013, twenty of our PE teachers were able to travel to Charlotte, NC to attend the National AAHPERD (American Alliance for Health, PE, Recreation and Dance) Convention! Click HERE to view photos of our adventures!  Our teachers have loved taking what they learned back into the classroom!  Mrs. Blankenship and her students are getting fit with Drums Alive at Bethel Elementary!

On March 7, 2013 we celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our new Fitness Rooms at Pisgah and Central Haywood High Schools.  Thank you to all who joined us including local officials, school administrators and staff members from both high schools.  An article about the Grand Opening was published in The Mountaineer newspaper.  Click HERE to read the article
